The alarming rise in CVD mortality rates in the developing world, with India as the epicenter of this raging pandemic, poses a great challenge to society and more so - to our medical fraternity.

The HEART Foundation's vision is to curb this growing menace of Cardiovascular Disease dually through primary prevention & by optimizing the care of people suffering from it.

With this humble intent, The HEART Foundation provides a platform for healthcare professionals to convene to enhance their learning curve by close interaction with experienced international experts in this field. We believe this would go a long way in enhancing their knowledge, which would ultimately get translated into better diagnosis and improve patient care.

The HEART Foundation is a not-for-profit Registered Trust.

The HEART Foundation is a non-profit organization with the following defined key objectives:

  • To promote, and organise all such events that are necessary for healthy living, HEART care and prevention of HEART disease.
  • To organise conventions, conferences, workshops, CMEs, and exchange programs amongst professionals with other countries.
  • To develop and maintain liaisons with other Trusts and bodies with similar objectives.
  • To enroll with various health care and HEART care organizations - both national and international - having similar objectives.
  • To work with national associations to form alliances, partnerships and mutually beneficial arrangements for the promotion of health care especially in the field of cardiology.
  • To carry out any other activity that may be conducive and necessary for attainment of above objectives.

To translate the above mentioned objectives into reality, over the previous years - the Heart Foundation has organized walkathons, meetings and CMEs on a regular basis for the general public to generate awareness of heart disease and actively promotes measures to prevent it.
